A federal contractor says it will have to lay off more than a hundred workers in Nevada unless a contract it has with the U.S. Navy is extended. Amentum informed the state that it will reduce its workforce in Nevada by 150 employees, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act filing from late June. The WARN Act requires employers to provide 60 days notice prior to mass layoffs.
