Arcosa Marine Products is closing its St. Tammany Parish shipyard, laying off its remaining 100 workers in the coming months. It's not the first time the shipyard has been closed in recent years. It was previously shut down by Trinity Industries in 2015. The shipyard once employed 300 people during its peak, building barges used to ferry products up and down the Mississippi River and other inland waterways.
