Arlington, Va.-based CACI-ISS, Inc., a subsidiary of CACI International, Inc., has laid off 73 employees in San Antonio, according to a worker adjustment and retraining notification provided by the Texas Workforce Commission.
The layoffs will be effective on Feb. 28, according to a letter signed by Michael Pobog-Jaworowki, the company's vice president of platform solutions and services to TWC.
The layoffs come as a contract to provide the U.S. Air Force with emergency contingency medical materials expires. The contract was initially set to expire at the end of July 2020, but the company was awarded a bridge extension, which expires on the date of the layoffs.
