Conduit Global has informed the state of North Carolina it plans to close its call center in McLeansville and lay off almost 175 workers. Conduit Global, based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, filed a notice with the N.C. Department of Commerce on April 26 in compliance with the terms of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN). The company "is in the process of attempting to ensure the continuation of certain business activities," CEO Robert Bryan wrote.
