South Africa government derecognising CSA could lead to 1000 job losses, CSA warns- As many as 1,000 jobs are at risk if the South Africa Cricket board is derecognized by the South Africa sports ministry. Cricket South Africa (CSA) has asked for an immediate meeting in order to save the game. As per a report, CSA staffs conveyed their dismay at events which caused sports minister Nathi Mthethwa to use the National Sports and Recreation Act to intervene at CSA via a letter signed by all 72 members of staff including the signature of Director of Cricket Graeme Smith.
