Citing "unforeseen business circumstances" related to the Covid-19 pandemic, Dave & Buster's has laid off 60 employees in Albuquerque. The Dallas-based event center chain filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions in September about 60 layoffs coming in November. The 60 employees were temporarily furloughed in mid-March before being permanently laid off on Nov. 8, according to a letter from Dave & Buster's to the Department of Workforce Solutions. Business First obtained the WARN through an Inspection of Public Records Act request.
