"Yesterday we communicated the sad news that we will have to let several Mapify team members go. When we experienced the first wave of this crisis in April we hoped that the situation would improve in fall but unfortunately we have seen another wave of insecurity over the last few weeks with an unclear perspective on travel. All of these amazing individuals were chosen by us to become part of the Mapify team because of their talents, drive, openness to new learnings and character. As much as we were always proud to have them on the team, we know that every other company will be blessed to have them join. If someone from this group reaches out to you in the coming weeks, please consider their application. Feel free to reach out to me personally if you want to get a firsthand account of what they worked on at Mapify and how their commitment made a difference. We are making samples or their work and detailed references available to everyone requesting them. We are deeply thankful for the contributions that all of these individuals made at Mapify and we wish for them to find a new exciting challenge quickly. In the same way that they did for Mapify, we know they will contribute greatly to moving things forward and building a unique culture in their next position." - Patrick Heade, CEO at Mapify
